Joe has since appeared in several acclaimed movies, such as Prison Song (2001), Empire (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Happy Feet (2006), as well as Netflix TV series She’s Gotta Have It. He made his cinematic debut in the 1999 film Thicker Than Water. Outside of the music industry, Fat Joe has also appeared in scores of movies. Some of Fat Joe’s biggest hits of all time include “What’s Luv?” featuring Ashanti and Ja Rule (2002), “Lean Back” released with Terror Squad (2004), and “Make It Rain” featuring Lil Wayne (2006). The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), as well as silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). However, his most commercially successful album to date is Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.), released in 2001. Joe released his debut solo album in 1993, titled Represent. He started his own label called Terror Squad and signed many renowned artists like Big Pun, Tony Sunshine, Remy Ma, Cuban Link, DJ Khaled, Armageddon, and Prospect.
